Greetings!
I am David Carter a 4th year dental student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. It is an honor and an immense privilege to serve as your National President  for the 2013-2014 school year! Great leaders are good followers; they own and drive the vision of their organization. Our organization is a vital part of dentistry and we will continue to promote and encourage an increase in minority enrollment and retention in all dental schools. We will be committed to the improvement of the delivery of dental health to all people, with an emphasis on minorities and/or the underserved.  We have made a lot of progress this past year which will continue. I feel that with the current executive board, we will continue to move onward and upward. I pray that God will give me the wisdom, knowledge, and strength to learn and become a more effective leader for this organization.
