It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to the Student
National Dental Association’s website!  The SNDA has had a
long-standing goal for over 40 years to promote, aid and support the
academic and social environment of minority students.  We strive to
establish opportunities for our members to develop stronger alliances
amongst one another as well as develop a sense of community, thus
aiding in the advancements of our students within the field of
dentistry.

As we appreciate our history and the mission of the SNDA, we would
like to acknowledge the commitments made to improve the oral health
care within our communities and abroad.   Our dedication to the
advancement of minority students, within the field of dentistry has
allowed us to make strides over the years.   SNDA has and continues to
provide proper oral hygiene education through various outreach efforts
and an increase the access to care within communities, with emphasis
on the minorities and the undeserved.  Such abilities have allotted
our members to provide a service that has ultimately improved the
quality of life for many.

With the establishment of financial scholarships to assist our
members, informative monthly newsletters and the annual Leadership
Conference and National Convention, we have furthered our purpose as a
national organization.  Building upon the success of what has already
been established, and giving homage to our parent organization, the
National Dental Association for all their support; the SNDA looks
towards a very bright and abundant future.
